What is Cupping?

Cupping- Simple and effective. Cupping is a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapeutic technique that uses specialized cups to create gentle suction on the skin. This suction lifts the skin and underlying tissues, encouraging circulation, reducing muscular tension, and promoting the body’s natural healing processes.

Are there different styles of cupping?

Yes, there are several forms and styles of cupping, ranging from traditional fire cupping to modern techniques that use pneumatic suction devices. Different cupping methods can also be incorporated to address specialized needs, including athletic performance, post-exercise recovery, and pain reduction. The style and level of suction are selected according to each patient’s condition, treatment goals, and comfort.
