The Way Foreword
We understand that you’ve likely tried everything to help resolve your pain. Although you might feel like you have run out of options and that you are permanently stuck in your current health situation, there often remains a path forward. The truth is, your body already knows how to heal and has been doing so for your entire life. However, life presents challenges that cause obstruction, imbalance, and disconnection from that natural healing process. This is what leads us into states of pain and disease.
That’s where we come in.
We specialize in treating pain by reactivating and reconnecting you to the innate healing power that already exists within, thus, helping you return to a state of balance, resilience, and well-being.
At Foothills Acupuncture, in Lakewood Colorado, we combine the ancient with the modern. We utilize the time tested methods and techniques of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and infuse them with a modern, scientific understanding of the body. This unique approach helps to unlock your body's blockages, accelerate the natural healing processes and help lead you to a pain free life.

How We Help You to Move Forward With Your Health Goals
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a fundamental practice within traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), utilized to activate the body’s innate healing mechanisms, release tension, and help the body return to optimal physiological function. With over 3000 years of practice and refinement, acupuncture continues today to be a highly useful tool to treat pain, tension and imbalance in the body. When acupuncture is applied properly, then it becomes a potent method for quick pain relief, long lasting pain reduction and accelerated healing processes.

Chinese Herbal Medicine
Traditional Chinese herbal medicine is a time-tested system that uses carefully selected plant, mineral, and natural ingredients to support the body’s healing processes. Herbal formulas may be used internally or applied topically to help address pain, inflammation, digestive concerns, stress, sleep difficulties, and other patterns of imbalance. Treatments are traditionally customized to each person and may be used alone or alongside acupuncture and other therapies.

Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a simple, practical treatment that can strongly help reduce pain, ease muscle tension, improve circulation in the soft tissues and help the body return to full function. This therapeutic modality is simplistic in nature but powerful in effect and can be another valuable tool to address stress, chronic tension, overworked muscles, and areas of lingering soreness. Cupping can also be combined with acupuncture and other TCM therapies to support recovery and overall function.

Cosmetic Microneedling and Nanoneedling
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy(CIT), is a natural, minimally invasive cosmetic procedure clinically proven to activate the body's natural rejuvenation processes and revitalize the skin on a cellular level. Utilized to help reduce the signs of aging and rejuvenate the skin as well as heal from deeper skin damage and scarring. Microneedling can also be an effective tool to help treat acne and can even be utilized to promote hair growth. In addition with the microneedling therapy, we combine bio-light therapy, hyaluronic acid, and custom TCM Serum infusions which provide additional strength to an already powerful treatment. While microneedling helps to reverse signs of aging and deeper skin damage, the specialized nano-needling technique further enhances the microneedling treatments by giving the skin a ‘boost’ treatment in between the microneedling sessions.

Biolight Therapy
Biolight Therapy is an innovative, non-invasive treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light—including red, yellow, and blue, as well as customized combinations of these spectrums—to stimulate natural healing and restore systemic balance. Based on the principle that light can influence cellular function, this therapy targets a variety of wellness needs: red light works deeply to relieve pain and reduce tissue inflammation; yellow light aids in soothing skin irritation and boosting circulation; and blue light offers powerful antimicrobial benefits to purify and clarify the skin. Offered as a standalone treatment or paired with acupuncture and microneedling, Biolight Therapy provides a versatile, gentle, and highly effective way to support your body's innate healing potential from the inside out.
