Simple to Begin. Powerful Through Consistency.

Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture have remained powerful healing tools for thousands of years, helping people support and strengthen their body’s innate healing abilities. The body knows how to heal—but sometimes it needs consistent, focused support to help it heal more effectively.

Much like exercise, the effects of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine build through repetition. One workout can make you feel better, but lasting strength and conditioning develop through consistent training. Acupuncture works in a similar way: each treatment encourages the body to move toward a healthier and more balanced state, while repeated treatments help reinforce that direction.

The body also develops habits. Long-standing patterns of tension, inflammation, stress, poor circulation, restricted movement, and physiological imbalance can repeatedly pull it away from healthier function. A single treatment may begin shifting these patterns, but a structured series gives the body more opportunities to respond, adapt, and maintain the progress being made. With enough consistency, positive changes may begin to hold longer—and this is where the deeper, more lasting work can happen.

Chinese herbal medicine can provide another cumulative layer of support. When herbs are included, their naturally occurring bioactive ingredients are taken consistently to reinforce the individualized goals of the treatment plan. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary guidance, and other Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies can then work together as part of one coordinated strategy.

Why Choose an Acupuncture Treatment Program?

Foothills Acupuncture’s treatment programs create the consistency needed for meaningful progress while remaining flexible enough to respond to your changing needs. Every program is built around a complete Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and an individualized treatment plan—not a predetermined, one-size-fits-all protocol.

Your progress is monitored throughout the program, and your care can be modified as your body responds. Depending on your condition and goals, treatments may incorporate or recommend:

Some therapies may be added, reduced, or removed as your needs change. This allows your program to provide the structure of consistent care without sacrificing the flexibility and personalization that make Traditional Chinese Medicine so powerful.

Who Can Benefit?

These programs are designed for people at many different stages of health and recovery. You may be managing an acute concern following a recent accident or injury, dealing with a chronic condition that has developed over many years, or training at a high level and looking for greater support with performance, recovery, and injury prevention.

Whether your goal is to reduce pain, restore function, improve resilience, or support your overall health, Foothills Acupuncture will help you select a program that fits your condition, goals, and life.

More Than Acupuncture Alone

Traditional Chinese Medicine is not limited to a single treatment method. When clinically appropriate, additional therapies may be incorporated into your appointments or recommended as part of your overall plan.

These therapies may include:

  • Cupping to address muscular tension, restricted movement, and circulation

  • Gua Sha to work with muscular and fascial restriction

  • Tui Na and Acupressure to support mobility, reduce tension, and address specific musculoskeletal concerns

  • BioLight Therapy to provide gentle, noninvasive phototherapy support

  • Chinese Herbal Medicine to provide consistent internal support between acupuncture treatments

  • Topical Herbal Products for localized support

  • Dietary and Lifestyle Guidance based on both Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and modern health knowledge

  • Therapeutic Exercises to improve strength, flexibility, posture, balance, or movement

Not every patient will need every therapy. Your care will remain focused on the modalities most appropriate for your condition, comfort, and goals. Some therapies may be incorporated within the scheduled appointment when time allows, while extended services, herbal formulas, topical products, and specialty supplies may require an additional fee. Any additional costs will be discussed with you beforehand.

This flexibility allows your program to evolve with you. Therapies can be added, reduced, or modified as your body responds and your needs change.

Choose the Treatment Program That Fits Your Needs

Every person begins from a different place. Some conditions may respond relatively quickly, while others require more time and repetition to create meaningful change. Your recommended program will be based on the nature and severity of your condition, how long it has been present, your overall health, and your personal treatment goals.

Treatment frequency is equally important. Depending on your needs, treatments may initially be recommended once or more per week. As your condition improves and your progress becomes more stable, appointments may be spaced farther apart.

How Do I Begin an Acupuncture Treatment Program?

New patients can begin by scheduling an Initial Acupuncture Appointment. Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation, complete Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, full acupuncture treatment, and a discussion of which program may be most appropriate for your needs.

Established patients may contact Foothills Acupuncture to discuss transitioning into a treatment program based on their current condition and goals.

If you are unsure where to begin, you may also schedule a complimentary consultation. We will answer your questions, discuss your concerns, and help you select the most appropriate next step.
